Please use your opportunity to communicate with me (Mia Elbourne) and the artist creating the work you wish to buy. If there is anything you are not sure about, ask. It is far better to sort out any misunderstandings at the beginning, than to try and fix things after money and artworks have changed hands. Always read the description of the artwork carefully and check the shipping costs to your address, before committing to buy an artwork. Shipping prices shown are to anywhere in Australia. If you are from overseas please request price from artist. Money will be refunded if you are not satisfied that the artwork matches the description given. Money will not be refunded for change of mind or incorrect choice, so please find out everything you can about the work before you buy. The Australian Art Index will not be responsible if the artwork is lost or damaged in transit. We highly recommend the purchase of insurance, especially on higher priced items. You should pay for your purchase in full, including shipping costs within 7 days of agreeing to buy the work. If there is a problem, inform The Australian Art Index immediately. We can't help you if we don't know about the problem. If the artwork is not paid for within 7 days of purchase, the sale will be cancelled and the artwork will be made available for sale to others. The artwork should be shipped within 7 days of purchase, unless it is being made to order and another shipping date has been arranged. If an item does not reach you within 14 days, contact us immediately so we can sort it out. |
